B-2 Spirit

The most expensive aircraft ever built and the world's only stealth strategic bomber. Each aircraft cost approximately $2.1 billion.
History
The Northrop Grumman B-2 Spirit flying wing is the most advanced bomber ever built and arguably the most expensive aircraft in history at over $2 billion per copy. Its all-wing stealth design can penetrate the most sophisticated air defenses undetected. The B-2 saw its first combat in the 1999 Kosovo campaign, flying 30-hour round-trip missions from Whiteman AFB in Missouri. Only 21 were built due to the enormous cost, making each aircraft a strategic national asset. The B-2 combines intercontinental range with precision strike capability and remains the only aircraft that can deliver both conventional and nuclear weapons while avoiding detection.
